What does a 1:1 session with Nat look like?

The way a session looks largely depends on the client. I always start by checking in and asking what goals or topics are on your mind. Sessions are casual and educational but not therapeutic. I believe that feelings and personal experiences belong in educational spaces. My role is to provide an affirming place for you to ask questions, directly or indirectly related to gender and sexuality, and to provide you with resources. You are in control of how the session goes and can chose to share at whatever level you feel comfortable with.

There are a wide variety of topics that I could support you with including but not limited to:

  • Finding and embracing gender euphoria

  • Reconnecting to your body

  • Creating new relationships (romantic, sexual, or platonic)

  • Exploring sexualit(ies)

  • Techniques and support on navigating the work place as a trans or gender non-conforming person

  • How to have compassion for yourself while navigating discrimination

  • What gender affirming care, surgeries, toys, and wear exists and how to access it

  • Sharing gender and/or sexuality with family and friends

  • Support and information on medical fatphobia

  • Unpacking fatphobia

  • Gatekeeping in the queer and trans community presently and historically

  • Exploring kinks and non-sexual pleasure

I will send out a recap email of topics mentioned along with any affirmations, tips, and/or resources that were shared.
